MXit Lifestyle have released a new instant messenger client for the PC. This is in addition to its existing plugin for Pidgin. MXit explains thats it has been specifically designed for the Windows environment making it faster and more efficient. Some of the features include:
- Finding contacts in a search bar
- Saving of chats (already a feature in Pidgin)
- Emoticon support
- Drag and drop file sharing
- Facebook status integration
- multiMX support
- Audible alerts

i like mxit its a great website to keep me in touch with my family abrode we can send each other messages via mxit and we can keep each other up to date of whats happening in the family where there is death concern and i can chat to them for hours cause im not staying in the same country i just simly love mxit i feel so lost with out it on my pc.

You need to go to http://www.mxit.com/download and in the bottom left hand block which says MXIT PC there will be a link to dowload MXIT Evo
